Woodside Energy (Senegal) B.V. has awarded frame agreements to DeepOcean to provide subsea services for the Sangomar field offshore Senegal.

The scope of work under these agreements includes project management, engineering and the execution of various subsea services.

These services include inspection, survey, intervention and maintenance, along with tasks such as underwater inspection of FPSO (UWILD) and stand-alone remotely operated vehicle operations.

DeepOcean said its local partner, Teranga Oil and Gas Services SARL, will play a key role in delivering these services.

The awarded frame agreements will be executed by DeepOcean’s subsidiary, Searov Offshore.

“Sangomar is a large and impressive field development, with extensive subsea infrastructure. Our aim is always to inspect and maintain it as effectively as possible, thereby keeping costs and operational disturbances to a minimum for Woodside.”

Located 100km south of Dakar, Senegal, the Sangomar deepwater oil field started production in June 2024.

The field comprises 24 subsea wells, a permanently moored floating production storage and offloading vessel, Léopold Sédar Senghor, as well as associated subsea systems.
