Cuda Oil and Gas has announced that the Miscible Gas Flood Facility and Central Delivery Point (CDP) at its Barron Flats Shannon Unit (SSRU) has started operations in Converse County, Wyoming, US.
The plant and facility maintain liquid-rich Shannon Field solution gas and Y-Grade condensate supplied from the 330,000gal on-site natural gas liquid (NGL) storage bullets.
This gas and concentrate will be used to produce the miscible fluid for injection.
Since June, the miscible fluid is being injected into the William Valentine cyclic gas stimulation test well at a rate of 350mcfd, with wellhead pressure rating of 1,350psi during the injection.
Cuda Oil and Gas president and CEO Glenn Dawson said: “The start-up of the CDP marks another major operating milestone for Cuda. In recent months, we have been very active in the field.
“With the CDP now commissioned and online, we look forward to frequent field-level updates that could be material in the context of the operations of the company.”

By GlobalDataAs part of the recent fieldwork at the facility, injection delivery pipelines, as well as associated facilities, were installed from the CDP to six additional injection wells, increasing the gas flood patterns to seven.
Overall, 34 oil wells, which also include the six injection patterns, are planned for completion by the end of this year.
Construction of a nine-mile natural gas pipeline is currently ongoing from the CDP at the Barron Flats Unit to the Interstate connection point, which is near Glenrock, Wyoming.
Testing and completion of the entire system are scheduled to take place next month.
Upon completion, the unit will produce up to 15MMcfd of makeup natural gas to the miscible gas flood project.
