The 844km-long, upcoming Varna–Oryahovo project will be operated by Bulgartransgaz. This onshore, gas pipeline, with a maximum diameter of 47 inches, will start in Varna (Bulgaria) and ends in Vratza (Bulgaria).

The Varna–Oryahovo project is expected to commence operations in 2022 and will be owned by Bulgarian Energy Holding.


During the period 2021-2025, the Varna–Oryahovo project is expected to witness an estimated capex of $394.21m.
