Surin is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Thailand and is operated by Chevron Offshore (Thailand). The field is located in block G4/43, with water depth of 220 feet.

Production from Surin

The Surin conventional oil field recovered 90.06% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2017. The peak production was approximately 1.73 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2026.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 0.24 Mmboe, comprised of 0.2 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 0.24 bcf of natural gas reserves.
