Salman is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Iran and is operated by Iranian Offshore Oil. The field is located in block Salman, with water depth of 142 feet.
An expansion project is associated with the Salman, namely Salman EOR Project. This project is currently in the feasibility stage.

The field is owned by National Iranian Oil.
Production from Salman
The Salman conventional oil field recovered 77.44% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2013. The peak production was approximately 53.82 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 650 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2050.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 494.4 Mmboe, comprised of 2,966.42 bcf of natural gas reserves. Salman conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.11% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
