Mikkel Sør is a conventional gas development located in shallow water in Norway and is operated by Equinor Energy. Discovered in 2008, Mikkel Sør lies in block 6407/6P (PL 312) and 6407/5P (PL 312 B), with water depth of around 827 feet.
The project is currently in feasibility stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2023.

Production from Mikkel Sør
Production from the Mikkel Sør conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2023 and is forecast to peak in 2024, to approximately 1,989 bpd of crude oil and condensate, 40 Mmcfd of natural gas and 3,315 bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2060.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 33.57 Mmboe, comprised of 5.58 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 112.16 bcf of natural gas reserves and 9.3 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves.
