The midstream segment contracts in Middle East registered a decrease of 27% with eight contracts in April 2022, when compared with the previous month’s total of 11 contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.
A total of eight contracts were registered in the midstream segment of Middle East during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of seven contracts.
In terms of the number of contracts in Middle East, the upstream segment contributed the most with 22 contracts in April 2022, followed by midstream and downstream segments with eight and four contracts, respectively.

In April 2022, Qatar led the activity with four contracts and a 50% share of the midstream oil and gas contracts in Middle East. It saw a decrease of 20% over the previous month’s total of five contracts and an increase of 100% when compared with the last 12 month-average of two contracts in Qatar.
