Contracts in the LNG segment registered an increase in activity by 142% in March 2022 with a total of 29 contracts, when compared with the previous month’s total of 12 contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.
A total of 29 contracts were registered in the LNG liquefaction and regasification segment globally during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of 15 contracts.
LNG Liquefication sub-segment reported 19 contracts, representing 59% of the total 32 LNG contracts, followed by 13 contracts in the LNG regasification sub-segment.

Asia-Pacific and North America took the top position with 11 contracts and a 38% share each of the total LNG contracts globally in March 2022, followed by Europe with four (14%) contracts.
