Hail is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in the UAE and is operated by Abu Dhabi Oil. The field is located in block ADOC Concession, with water depth of 66 feet.
An expansion project is associated with the Hail, namely Hail Oil Field Water Injection Project. This project is currently in the construction stage.
Field participation details
The field is owned by Chubu Electric Power, The Kansai Electric Power, Compania Espanola de Petroleos SAU, Cosmo Energy Exploration & Production and JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration.
Production from Hail
The Hail conventional oil field recovered 12.35% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2033. The peak production will approximately 21.45 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2080.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 202.5 Mmboe, comprised of 202.5 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Hail conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.04% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
