The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 22.51% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 19.68% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 2.31% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Royal Dutch Shell IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Royal Dutch Shell, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 66.12% in October 2021, and a 142% rise over September 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 10.93% in October 2021, and registered growth of 53.85%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 10.38% in October 2021, a 280% rise from September 2021.

Mid Level jobs held a share of 49.73%, up by 97.83% from September 2021. Junior Level positions with a 46.45% share, a growth of 70% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 3.83% share, up 133.33% over September 2021.
