Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in October 2021 with an 87.98% share, which marked an 111.84% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 7.1%, registering an 18.18% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 4.92% share and a 25% drop over September 2021.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 77.6% share in October 2021, an 115.15% growth over September 2021. US featured next with a 5.46% share, flat growth over the previous month. Malaysia recorded a 3.83% share, an increase of 250% compared with September 2021.

Mid Level jobs lead Royal Dutch Shell IT hiring activity in October 2021

Mid Level jobs held a share of 49.73%, up by 97.83% from September 2021. Junior Level positions with a 46.45% share, a growth of 70% compared with the previous month.
