Aker is a Norwegian headquartered oil and gas corporation that is ranked for Business Expansion, Environmental and Investments in the 2022 Offshore Technology Excellence Rankings.
The company won a number of notable contracts during the research period including for modifications on the Ekofisk installations to integrate the Tommeliten Alpha discovery in offshore Norway. Aker also secured a contract for topside work on the Troll B and C platforms offshore Norway, to receive electricity from shore via cable.

Finally the company also secured a ‘sizeable contract’ to provide the subsea umbilicals for the Jansz-Io compression (J-IC) development in offshore Australia, and a contract to recycle installations from the Heimdal and Veslefrikk fields in offshore Norway.
