Management Occupations drive oil and gas industry hiring activity

Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Management Occupations, which accounted for 5% of the total new job postings in Q2 2024 and were down by 23% year-on-year. Second highest were Production Occupations, which accounted for 4% and rise by 34% year-on-year, and third highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which were 16% of the new job postings and 0.97% higher year-on-year.

Top five companies in oil and gas industry accounted for 59% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Sinochem Group with 557, followed by BASF with 455, while the highest increase was at Sinochem International at 8%.
