Klinge Corporation is co-sponsoring a reception for the US Ambassador to Singapore Honorable Kirk W. Wagar at OSEA 2014. Celebrating it’s 20th year, OSEA is Asia’s leading oil and gas event.
The reception is organized by the US Commercial Service and will be held from 4.45pm-6pm on 3 December 2014 at booth 1R5-11. The US Commercial Service is the trade promotion arm of the US Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration. It assists American businesses with export promotion strategies and sales growth in new global markets.
Asia’s largest oil and gas event
OSEA 2014 will be held on 2-5 December at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands in 36,000m² of venue space. Comprising an exhibition and conference, the event will host more than 1,600 exhibitors and 28,000 attendees. This year’s conference theme is "Unlocking the Full Potential of Offshore Reserves with Innovative Solutions" and will cover a number of topics, including:
- Maximising the recovery factor from oilfields
- Shaping the new era of deepwater through game-changing technologies
- New frontiers for gas: shale and FLNG
- Sourcing for new oil and gas reserve for Asian market
Klinge Corporation participates in OSEA to present its offshore refrigerated containers
Klinge Corporation will be presenting its special explosion-proof offshore refrigerated containers at the event. With models for Zone 1 and Zone 2, the containers are certified to the ATEX Directive and CE requirements for equipment.
The EU’s ATEX Directive contains safety guidelines for equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres, such as those encountered in the oil and gas industry. The CE mark is a mandatory marking for certain products sold in Europe.
Klinge Corporation’s offshore refrigerated containers are also available with special containers certified to DNV 2.7-1. These containers are subject to many more safety standards and must undergo a strict certification process to ensure the safety of personnel working on oil rigs and oil tankers.
