Saudi Aramco has invited firms to bid by 15 March for a contract covering offshore engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) works, issued through its Contract Release and Purchase Order (CRPO) system.
Saudi Aramco’s latest offshore works tender, issued as CRPO 59, calls for EPCI of three jackets at Abu Safah field, according to sources.
The contract value of the job is estimated to be between $50 and $100m.
The sources added Aramco has not invited all entities part of its Long-Term Agreement (LTA) pool of contractors to bid for CRPO 59.
Five out of the nine LTA entities that have been invited to bid are:
- Dynamic Industries (USA)
- Lamprell (UAE/UK) / Royal Boskalis Westminster (The Netherlands)
- Sapura Energy (Malaysia)
- TechnipFMC (France) / MMHE (Malaysia)
- China Offshore Oil Engineering Company (China)
Saudi Aramco is still in discussions with UAE-based National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) for CRPOs 57 and 58.
