Sixgill has formed a partnership with US-based CleanConnect.ai to deliver a set of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to the oil and gas industry.
The Israeli firm’s Sense AI platform enables CleanConnect.ai to easily train, deploy and manage computer vision models for oil and gas customers.
Sixgill is a provider of an AI internet of things (IoT) platform for end-to-end machine learning lifecycle management.
Sixgill CEO Carlos Anchia said: “Our highly sophisticated Sense platform equips data scientists and ML engineers with centralised end-to-end tools they need to create computer vision solutions. For non-technical stakeholders, Sense makes the magic of AI-powered discovery accessible for the first time.”
CleanConnect.ai helps oil and gas operators automate compliance and optimise operations using AI-powered solutions.
Under the strategic partnership, the CleanConnect.ai solutions suite, powered by Sixgill Sense, will now enable operators to get ‘hands off’ automated intelligence and instant alerts.

CleanConnect.ai president Mark Smith said: “We’re pleased to partner with Sixgill, a company immersed in AI technologies with proven ability to deliver with great urgency and accuracy.
“Within five years, we believe 10,000 oil and gas pad sites in the US and Canada will be remotely monitored and managed by harnessing the power of AI to achieve autonomous field operations and predictive optimisation.”
Smith added that the oil and gas sector desperately needs automation through AI, especially during these turbulent times due to market uncertainty on fuel demand.
Sixgill and CleanConnect.ai also announced the commercial availability of the AI-powered solutions suite. These include real-time volatile organic compounds gas leak detection, non-invasive tank-level monitoring, as well as security surveillance.
