Aker Solutions has entered a new frame agreement with Vår Energi to deliver maintenance and modification services for key assets on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
The five-year contract encompasses the Jotun, Balder, and Ringhorne assets, with the possibility of extension for up to six additional years.
Aker Solutions executive vice president Paal Eikeseth said: “This contract renewal reflects our long-term relationship and status as Vår Energi’s preferred partner, highlighting that our commitment to improved deliveries and optimised solutions is highly valued by our customers.”
For over two decades, Aker Solutions has been a service provider for Vår Energi’s assets, namely Jotun, Balder, and Ringhorne.
This relationship underscores the company’s commitment to supporting Norway’s second-largest gas exporter, Vår Energi, which is integral to Europe’s energy supply.
Eikeseth said: “Maintenance and modifications are essential to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers’ installations and facilities. We look forward to continuing our good collaboration with Vår Energi to achieve this goal.”
