American midstream company Zenith Energy Terminals has concluded the assets of Bulk Terminal Storage from Guttman Realty for an undisclosed amount.
Bulk Terminal Storage consist of three storage terminals in the US.
The three storage terminals are located in Aurora, Ohio, Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania and Star City, West Virginia.
With the newly acquired terminals, Zenith’s overall storage capacity has now reached 560,000 barrels and forms a strategic link in the company’s asset footprint.
The acquisition is part of Zenith’s strategy to bolster its infrastructure in the Midwest and Marcellus and Utica Shale regions and help its customers storage of both conventional and alternative fuels.
The Aurora terminal is located directly on the Buckeye Pipeline. Due to its location, it can serve both Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania markets. It has a storage capacity of 353,000 barrels and six loading lanes.

The Belle Vernon terminal is located along the Monongahela river and offers both river and truck access. With capacity to store 157,000 barrels, the terminal offers access to parts of Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and Maryland.
The Star City terminal has capacity to store 53,000 barrels. It is also located along the Monongahela river and is positioned to serve the regions of West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland.

Last October, Zenith acquired three interconnected terminals in greater Los Angeles from Plains All American Pipeline.
The infrastructure includes terminals in Los Angeles County, also known as the Long Beach, Dominguez Hills and Alamitos Terminals, in addition to about 50 miles of bi‐directional pipeline offering interconnection between the terminals and direct connectivity to all major refineries in the region.
