Subsea 7 has won a contract from Woodside Energy to work on the Persephone project, offshore Australia.

The project is expected to cost A$1.2bn and will involve a two well, 7km subsea tieback from the Persephone field to the existing North Rankin Complex.

Under the contract, Subsea 7 will provide fabrication, transportation, installation and pre-commissioning activities within the principal scope of work.
