All MCU products are polyureas made from 100% urethane. Therefore, the finish coats will retain their colour and gloss three to five times longer than typical two-component polyurethanes, which contain generally 20%-30% urethane. The finish is also far more resilient in terms of impact and abrasion resistance, while retaining a flexibility factor between 30%-35%.
These finish coats, as with all MCU products, will resist all atmospheric chemicals and can be applied directly with excellent adhesion to galvanised steel and aluminium.
Application work can also be carried out with less downtime, as there is no temperature or humidity restrictions or amine blush from application in the dew point. All MCU products can be applied in temperatures from -15°C to +100°C. Single-component systems mean no induction time or pot life restrictions.
