Norway-based company Yara International’s IT hiring rose 4.1% in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.77% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 22.32% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 3.35% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Yara International IT hiring in April 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Yara International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 72% in April 2022, and a 16.92% drop over March 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 18.67% in April 2022, and registered a decline of 6.67%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 4% in April 2022, a flat growth from March 2022.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 77.33% share, which marked a 4.92% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 20%, registering a 25% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 1.33% share and a 66.67% drop over March 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.33% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 57.33% share in April 2022, a 4.88% growth over March 2022. China featured next with a 10.67% share, down 27.27% over the previous month. Singapore recorded a 9.33% share, a decline of 22.22% compared with March 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Yara International IT hiring activity in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.33%, down by 15.38% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 25.33% share, a growth of 18.75% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 1.33% share, down 80% over March 2022.
