The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.69% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 5.27% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 0.55% growth over the last three-month average share.
Miscellaneous Computer Occupations tops Worley IT hiring in April 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Worley, Miscellaneous Computer Occupations emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 35.14% in April 2022, and a 13.33% drop over March 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 27.03% in April 2022, and registered a decline of 52.38%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 16.22% in April 2022, a 50% rise from March 2022.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 29.73%, registering a 47.62% month-on-month decline. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with a 13.51% share and a 16.67% drop over March 2022.
In the fourth place was Europe with a share of 8.11% and a month-on-month flat growth. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 5.41%, registering a 66.67% drop over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 29.73% share in April 2022, a 175% growth over March 2022. India featured next with a 13.51% share, down 68.75% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 13.51% share, an increase of 400% compared with March 2022.
Mid Level jobs lead Worley IT hiring activity in April 2022
Mid Level jobs held a share of 59.46%, up by 120% from March 2022. Junior Level positions with a 27.03% share, a decline of 58.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10.81% share, down 33.33% over March 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.7%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
