The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.79% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the oil & gas industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.17% share in March 2022, recording an increase of 0.58% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Netherlands oil & gas industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands oil & gas industry in March 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 60.61% in March 2022, registering a 4.76% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 15.15% share, an increase of 150% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 9.09%, registering a 25% decline from February 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 9.09%, up 200% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 80% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands oil & gas industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Akzo Nobel posted 8 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a drop of 20% over the previous month, followed by LyondellBasell Industries with 6 jobs and a 20% growth. Brenntag with 5 IT jobs, recorded a flat growth, while Dow recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.73%, up by 20% from February 2022. Entry Level positions with a 15.15% share, registered a decline of 16.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 12.12% share, up 100% over February 2022.
