Cosmos is a conventional oil development located in shallow water in Tunisia and is operated by Anglo Tunisian Oil & Gas. Discovered in 1983, Cosmos lies in block Cosmos, with water depth of around 492 feet.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2023. The Cosmos conventional oil development will involve the drilling of approximately three wells and includes FPSO, subsea tree, and wellhead platforms.

The field is owned by Entreprise Tunisienne d’Activites Petrolieres, Sirius Petroleum and Anglo Tunisian Oil & Gas.
Production from Cosmos
Production from the Cosmos conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2023 and is forecast to peak in 2024, to approximately 4,225 bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2055.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 15.58 Mmboe, comprised of 15.58 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
