Located in Sarawak in Malaysia, the MLNG Satu LNG liquefaction terminal is operated by Malaysia LNG Sdn. The terminal started operations in 1983 and is owned by Petroliam Nasional, Mitsubishi, and others.
The MLNG Satu LNG liquefaction terminal sources gas from the following fields – B15, Bakong, Gorek, Kebabangan Cluster, Larak, and Pegaga
With three trains, the MLNG Satu terminal has an LNG production capacity of 8.4Mtpa (million tons per annum), which is expected to remain the same as 8.4Mtpa by 2030.
Approximately 27.86% of the installed capacity is committed through long-term contracts, which amounts to roughly 2.34Mtpa.
