Desfa will operate the upcoming Al-Zour LNG regasification terminal, proposed to be built in Al Ahmadi in Kuwait. The terminal is expected to start operations in 2021 and will be owned by Kuwait Petroleum.
The Al-Zour LNG regasification terminal has a proposed regasification capacity of 1,155.41bcf/annum (billion cubic feet) and storage capacity of 0.83 million tons (Mt).
During the period 2021-2025, the Al-Zour regasification terminal is expected to witness an estimated capex of $300m.
